This particular kitchen installation had lots of attractive features that came together to create a contemporary cooking and dining space. The large room gave us the opportunity to do more than just the installation of the units. Read on to find out more about this modern-look kitchen.
The gloss white units were from the Busby kitchen collection. An advantage of choosing white gloss is the amount of light it reflects off. It makes the room look clean and bright. The worktops were also white (colour name Polaris) and were from the MISTRAL range. This type of surface gives a natural stone look. The contrast splash back was another standout feature.
One of our favourite elements of this kitchen is the copper sink. It adds a bit of pizzazz to the white surfaces and completes the modern look.
As you can see DBR Interiors don't just design and install kitchens. We installed bi-fold doors on the
back wall which led out the back garden. It opened up the room well and is ideal for a sunny summers day! Even if the sun wasn't out then you can still feel the warmth with the underfloor heating.
The contrasting unit was made from Arlington oak. Creating overhead units can have many benefits. It frees up floor space and provides even more storage opportunities. The units were complemented by LED feature lighting behind the splash back inside the cupboard.
In the dining area we installed a booth-style seating area. This was custom made and included storage inside the seat. Our client opted for a low hanging light and vintage Singer sewing machine table to complete this section of the room.
